Ranjit Paulraj

Ranjit Paulraj has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Ranjit is currently working as a Software Director at OxSonics Therapeutics. In their previous role as Software Lead at ORTHOSON Ltd from April 2019 to October 2022, they built a team from scratch and led the delivery of prototype software for an ultrasound system. Ranjit was responsible for recruitment, mentoring, line management, goal setting, performance evaluation, and developing software department plans.

Ranjit has also worked as a Consultant Software Architect/Lead at DCA Design International, providing consultancy services for developing software requirements and architecture for medical device projects. At XP Power, they worked as a Software Consultant, contributing to the development of power control hardware for ultrasound probes. As a Software Consultant for Stannah, they developed embedded software for consumer stairlifts, ensuring compliance with SIL2 requirements. At Enigma Diagnostics Limited, they provided software consultancy services, writing motor control software and deriving thermal models for medical devices.

Ranjit has also worked as a Software Consultant for Toumaz Ltd, where they developed software in C and Assembly language for a time-critical system. At Nexsan by Imation, they served as a Senior Software Engineer, designing and developing SNMP Agents and implementing SCSI specifications. At Enigma Diagnostics, they worked as a Principal Software Engineer, designing and implementing platform software and optimizing optical and thermal performance.

Earlier in their career, Ranjit was a Senior Software Engineer at CareFusion, where they took ownership of software aspects, contributed to solving customer issues, derived user workflows, and performed unit testing. Ranjit has a strong background in software architecture, design, implementation, and verification for medical devices.

Ranjit Paulraj pursued their undergraduate education from 1996 to 2000 at Madurai Kamaraj University. During this time, they earned a degree in Engineering with a specialization in Electrical & Electronics.
