Katie Johns

Katie Johns has a range of work experience in the legal field. Katie is currently employed as an Associate General Counsel at Ozinga since May 2023. Prior to this role, they worked at Crowell & Moring LLP as a Senior Law Clerk/Associate from September 2022 to May 2023. Katie also served as a Senior Editor for the Notre Dame Law School Journal on Emerging Technologies from July 2020 to May 2022. Katie gained valuable experience as a Certified Legal Intern at the Notre Dame Law School Intellectual Property & Entrepreneurship Clinic from August 2021 to April 2022. Additionally, they worked as a Summer Associate at Neal & McDevitt, LLC from June 2021 to August 2021 and as a Winter Associate at Irwin IP LLC from November 2020 to January 2021. Starting their legal career, Katie worked as a Legal Intern at John M. Molloy & Associates from May 2020 to August 2020 and as a Law Clerk at the same firm from July 2018 to July 2019. Prior to their legal roles, they worked as a Seasonal - 61st GRAMMY Awards Media Credentials Coordinator at Rocky Woody, Inc. from November 2018 to February 2019. Katie's earliest work experience was with the Chicago Cubs, where they served as an Event Operations- Premier Services Ambassador/Guest Services Ambassador from May 2017 to February 2019.

Katie Johns pursued their higher education at Loyola Marymount University, where they graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree. Additionally, they had the opportunity to expand their academic horizons by studying Literature and Law through a Study Abroad program at the University of Oxford. Subsequently, Katie enrolled at Notre Dame Law School and will be completing their Doctor of Law - JD degree in 2022. Katie has also obtained certification in Essential Legal Research from Thomson Reuters in February 2020.
