Martijn Olthof

Martijn Olthof has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and positions. Martijn is currently the Chief Executive Officer at P1 Travel since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Managing Director at Marie-Stella-Maris from May 2021 to January 2022. Before that, they served as the Managing Director of Zoover at HolidayCheck Group AG from January 2020 to October 2020.

From October 2017 to December 2019, Martijn worked at bol.com as the Director of Fashion, Sport & Baby. Martijn also held the role of Sr. Category Manager Sports & Leisure from October 2014 to October 2017.

Earlier in their career, Martijn worked at Nike EMEA in various roles such as Category Sales Manager and Sales Manager from 2008 to 2014. Martijn also worked as a Strategy Consultant at Accenture from 2006 to 2008.

In addition, Martijn has experience at Fortis Consumer Finance Group and Fortis Bank, where they held advisory and management trainee roles, respectively.

Martijn Olthof began their education at St. Bonifatiuscollege, where they obtained their VWO degree from 1992 to 1998. Martijn then attended Rutgers University from 1998 to 2000, focusing on economics. Martijn went on to study at Utrecht University from 2000 to 2002, completing a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Law, and Political Science. In 2001, they briefly attended UC Santa Barbara to study International Political Economy. Martijn then pursued further education at the University of Amsterdam from 2002 to 2004, earning a Master's degree (drs.) in International Finance. In 2015, they obtained a certification from the Ahold Retail Academy at Cornell University.
