Kishan Patel

Kishan Patel has a diverse range of work experience. Kishan began their career as a Peer Tutor at Fanshawe College in 2020, where they provided guidance and assistance to their peers and juniors in software testing projects and assignments. In 2017, they worked as a Software QA Tester at eInfochips, specializing in developing and testing websites, applications, and software within a Scrum framework. Prior to that, they gained expertise as a Technical Support Advisor at 24-7 Intouch, where they resolved computer-related issues for customers, such as setting up new computers, reinstalling/upgrading operating systems, and troubleshooting performance problems. Kishan then joined Shaw Communications in 2022 as a Technical Support Representative, actively listening to client issues and providing efficient solutions by raising incidents/bugs to the development team. Presently, Kishan is employed as a Software Quality Engineer at IFS, Energy and Resources, showcasing their skills in maintaining software quality.

Kishan Patel has a diverse education history with a focus on software and information systems. In 2019, they completed a Post Graduation Diploma in Software and Information System Testing at Fanshawe College. Prior to this, in the same year, they also pursued a Post Graduation Diploma in Information Technology Project Management at Seneca College.

Before their diploma programs, Kishan pursued higher education at CHAROTAR UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY from 2016 to 2018. Kishan obtained a Masters in Computer Engineering during this period.

In 2011, Kishan earned their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Gujarat Technological University (GTU).

In addition to their formal education, Kishan has obtained various certifications related to their field. This includes certifications such as ISTQB Foundation Exam Prep, Nail Your Software Tester Interview, Git Essential Training: The Basics, Software Testing Foundations: Bug Writing and Management, Agile Testing, Programming Foundations: Software Testing/QA, Agile Software Development, Leading in Crisis, and Selenium Essential Training. These certifications were achieved from different institutions, primarily LinkedIn, during the years 2020 to 2022.
