Octavio Alamilla

Octavio Alamilla has a diverse work experience in the field of networking and cloud engineering. Octavio is currently working as a Cloud NetOps Engineer at Paack, where they are responsible for managing hybrid network infrastructure and implementing automation approaches. Before joining Paack, Octavio worked at EPAM Systems as a Cloud Networking SME. Prior to EPAM Systems, Octavio worked at Rackspace as a Network Security Administrator L3. Octavio provided high-touch support to network security customer environments, troubleshooting and deploying various network security components and integrating them with cloud solutions.

Octavio also has experience at MetroCarrier as a Technical Support Professional, where they provided technical support to customers. Octavio also worked at Axesat, starting as a Customer Support Professional and gradually progressing to roles such as Support Engineer L2, Support Engineer L3, and Lead Technical Support Engineer. In these roles, they were involved in troubleshooting CPE modems and routers, supporting field engineers on remote activities, and generating tickets on CRM.

Octavio Alamilla received their Grado en Ingeniería (Bachelor's Degree) in Ingenieria en Comunicaciones y Electrónica (Communication and Electronics Engineering) from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional. Octavio completed their education from 2011 to 2017 at the Instituto Politécnico Nacional.
