Matthew B. Parks, Sr. has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Matthew B. started their career as an Adjunct Instructor at FastTrain from January 2007 to June 2010, where they taught career transitioners in the field of IT. Matthew B. then worked as an Adjunct P/T IT Instructor at Florida Career College from October 2010 to October 2011, where they continued to teach IT courses.

In 2003, Matthew joined The Bolles School as a MIS Support Specialist. In this role, they provided hardware and software support to the teachers, students, and administrative staff of the school. Matthew B. worked there until December 2012.

Next, Matthew joined Pace Center for Girls in December 2012 as a Regional IT Coordinator. Matthew B. maintained the agency's wide area network and collaborated with the IT Manager to implement best practices across the organization. Matthew B. then served as a Technical Services Manager-IT from April 2013 to September 2013, creating technology standards and monitoring hardware systems trends.

From September 2013 to October 2013, Matthew worked as an Interim Associate Director of IT, providing leadership and management for information systems and distance learning services. Following this, they were promoted to the role of Director of Information Services in October 2013. As the Director, they provided leadership for IT and BI services and managed the administration of Windows systems, cloud applications, large deployments, and IT security. Matthew B. also created and reported high-level analysis summaries to C-level executives.

In January 2013, Matthew took on the role of Senior Director Information Technology at Pace Center for Girls. Matthew B. continued to provide leadership and management of IT systems until their recent appointment as Vice President of Information Technology and Security, a position they currently hold.

Apart from their work at Pace Center for Girls, Matthew also worked as a Speaker at 1105 Media in 2015, and provided expert insights in the field of IT.
