Melissa Koopmann joined PMI in 1998 as a Property Manager for Plaza Verde Apartments in Centralia Illinois. She demonstrated the ability to manage a variety of demands, situations, and personalities and was therefore promoted to Regional Manager in June 2008. In addition to managing the physical and fiscal operations of Plaza Verde Apartments, she now supervises four properties with combined budgets of $6,000,000 and a staff of seventeen persons.
Prior to joining PMI, Melissa served as a Case Manager Supervisor and Elder Abuse Investigator for Family Services and the Visiting Nurse Association through the Illinois Department on Aging. Her knowledge and past experience in understanding the diverse issues facing senior citizens make her a highly qualified manager. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Illinois University and is a licensed Real Estate Broker with the State of Illinois.
