Starting in 2008, Karen worked as a Sales Representative for Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. where they marketed and sold products for hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, and diabetes treatment. Karen received recognition for their excellent performance in the form of the Champions Club Eligible and Run to the Sun Award.
In 2011, they joined Allergan as an Executive Account Specialist in Urology, promoting the use of Botox for the treatment of overactive bladder and neurogenic detrusor overactivity. Karen'swork involved selling Botox to Urologists and conducting procedures in operating rooms, ASCs, or clinics.
Moving on to Flexion Therapeutics in 2017, Karen served as a Musculoskeletal Business Manager. Karen played a crucial role in launching an extended release injectable for the management of osteoarthritis knee pain. Karen'sresponsibilities included selling the product to Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Surgeons, Rheumatologists, and Pain Management Specialists.
Most recently, Karen joined Pacira BioSciences, Inc. in 2020. Karen held the position of Treatment Solutions Manager for the iovera system, a handheld device that provides pain relief through cryoneurolysis of peripheral nerves. Karen'srole involved product launch, targeting Orthopedic Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and Pain Management specialists across several states.
Throughout their career, Karen has demonstrated strong sales and marketing skills, received recognition for their performance, and gained experience in various therapeutic areas.
Karen LeBlanc earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science from Louisiana State University, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Following that, they attended LSU Law from 2004 to 2007 and received their Juris Doctor degree (J.D.).
