Kevin Hegarty

Kevin Hegarty has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Kevin started their career as an Apprentice Fitter/Turner at British Steel before moving on to roles such as Sponsored Engineering Student and Engineering Maintenance/Project Engineer. Kevin later became the Procurement QA Manager at British Steel. After that, they worked as a Production & Business Process Improvement Manager at Xerox. Kevin then gained experience as a Production Manager at Sony UK, where they led a team of over 150 people in a highly automated manufacturing process. Kevin also worked as a Manufacturing Advisor at The Link Group - Business Link Gloucestershire and as a Production Manager at Scandinavian Design Limited. Over the years, they held various positions at Bioglan Laboratories Limited, GE Healthcare, and Pacira BioSciences, Inc., focusing on areas such as production, operations, and supply chain management. Overall, Kevin Hegarty has demonstrated expertise in operations management, supply chain, and process improvement throughout their career.

Kevin Hegarty began their education at St Julians Comprehensive from 1975 to 1978, where they obtained 7 O levels. Kevin then enrolled at Gwent College of FE from 1978 to 1980, where they earned a TEC Certificate in Mechanical Engineering. Following that, they attended Gwent College of HE from 1980 to 1982, obtaining a Higher TEC Certificate in the same field. Finally, Kevin pursued their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering at the University of South Wales from 1982 to 1987.
