Sara Kaltunas

Sara Kaltunas, P.E. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Sara began their career in 2007 as a Nursing Assistant at Memorial Medical Center. In 2008, they worked as a Process Engineer Co-op at PCA before joining Abbott Vascular in 2010 as a Product Performance Group Intern. In 2011, Sara returned to PCA as a Process Engineer. In 2012, they started working at GLOBALFOUNDRIES as a Process Engineer before transitioning to Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) in the same role. Throughout their time at PCA, Sara held multiple positions including Process Engineer, Environmental Manager, and Corporate Environmental Paper Mill Manager. Most recently, they have been serving as the Director of Environmental Operations at Packaging Corporation of America.

Sara Kaltunas, P.E. completed their Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 2011. In 2016, they obtained a Professional Engineer certification from the State of Michigan. Sara also holds additional certifications, including an Industrial Stormwater Operator certification and an Industrial Wastewater Operator certification in Activated Sludge, Plain Clarification, and Sub-surface Disposal.
