Chris Austin

Chris Austin is the Director of Network Service Assurance at PacketFabric. Chris has over 15 years of experience in the IT industry, specializing in network security and cloud computing. Chris co-founded Falconfox LLC in 2012, a network and cloud security consultation company. Chris also served as the Director of Security & Network Operations for Ongoing Operations, LLC from 2007 to 2018. Prior to that, they were a Technical Projects Manager for AT&T's Internet Major Accounts Center (IMAC) from 2003 to 2007. Chris began their career as an ACS Sr. Support Engineer for Dell Computer Corp in 2000 and also served in the US Army from 1997 to 2003.

Chris Austin's educational career includes a degree in computer science from the Florida Institute of Technology, as well as various certifications from LinkedIn, (ISC)², and Amazon Web Services.

They are on a team with Dan Houtz - Director of Network Production Engineering, Andy Wegner - Director of Software Engineering, and Mark Calkins - Director of Network Architecture. Their manager is Anna Claiborne, CTO, Chief Product Officer, & Co-Founder.
