Edgardo Garcia

Edgardo Garcia has a diverse work experience in finance and management roles. Edgardo started their career at Cummins Inc. as a Foreign Trade Taxes Coordinator, where they implemented the department of foreign trade and successfully recovered $2MM pesos through the "Cuentas Aduanera" program. Edgardo then joined Celestica as a Finance Coordinator, where they coordinated and prepared monthly financial reports and budgets, and established accounting procedures for a new plant. Edgardo later worked at Translesa SA de CV as a Finance Manager, where they supervised financial statements, implemented tax reporting schedules, and updated outdated accounting records. Edgardo then became a Finance Manager at Dupont - Pioneer Hi-Bred International Inc, where they were responsible for all financial activities in the Latin America North region and played a key role in the strategic financial planning and budgeting process. Prior to their current role, Edgardo worked at Integrated Microelectronics Inc. as a Finance Manager, providing financial advice for production cost management, budgeting, and financial reporting. Edgardo is currently working as a Finance Director at Pactiv, LLC, leading the financial functions of the company, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and actively participating in business development and project implementation to improve efficiency and results.

Edgardo Garcia completed their Bachelor's degree in Finance with a focus on Corporate Finance at Universidad Panamericana in 2002-2003. Edgardo then pursued a Master's degree in Taxes at Universidad de Guanajuato from 1994 to 1997. Prior to that, they obtained their Certified Public Accountant qualification in Finance from Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí between 1988 and 1993. Most recently, they have been studying Business Administration at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management since 2015.
