Karen Cariss

Karen Cariss has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries. Karen began their career at Coles, where they worked as a Shop Assistant while in high school and the early years of university. During this time, they gained valuable experience and eventually established a long-term client relationship with Coles at PageUp.

In 1993, Cariss had the opportunity to gain direct work experience at Glaxo Smith Kline as part of their undergraduate Biochemistry degree. This experience not only provided their with a wealth of knowledge but also allowed their to build important connections in the pharmaceutical industry.

In 1997, Cariss co-founded PageUp, a company that offers SaaS Talent Management technology systems to assist organizations in acquiring and retaining top talent. As the CEO and Co-founder, they led PageUp in becoming a global leader in talent management solutions, serving some of the world's largest organizations. Under their leadership, the company innovated in talent management practices and developed web-based tools and consulting solutions.

Cariss continues to hold the position of Director at PageUp as of July 2019. Karen'sextensive work experience, combined with their entrepreneurial spirit, has contributed to the success and growth of the company.

Karen Cariss completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BAppSc) degree in Biochemistry from Swinburne University of Technology. This four-year program spanned from 1990 to 1994. Karen then pursued a Bachelor of Science Honors (BSc Hons) degree in Microbiology from La Trobe University in 1995.
