Andrea Parke

Andrea Parke has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Andrea is currently working at Paige as the Global Director of Clinical Science and Partnerships since January 2023. Prior to this, Andrea was a Clinical Partnerships Manager at Paige in the UK & Europe from December 2021 to December 2022.

Before joining Paige, Andrea worked at O4 Research Ltd as a Clinical Operations Manager from June 2018 to December 2021. Their responsibilities included overseeing clinical studies, supporting business development activities, and managing employees and internal processes.

From 2016 to 2018, Andrea worked at Almac Diagnostic Services. Andrea started as a Senior Product Development Manager from October 2016 to April 2017, and then became the Product Management Team Leader from April 2017 to June 2018. In these roles, they managed projects related to prognostic and predictive oncology biomarkers, as well as supervised team members, evaluated performance, and provided training and development opportunities.

Andrea's early career includes roles at Almac Diagnostics as a Senior Research Project Manager from October 2011 to October 2016, Project Manager from December 2007 to September 2011, and Molecular Biologist/Project Specialist from January 2006 to November 2007. During this time, they were responsible for delivering commercial biomarker discovery and validation projects, managing clinical trials, and establishing project budgets.

Prior to their time at Almac Diagnostics, Andrea worked as a Research Assistant at Queen's University Belfast in July and August 2002. Andrea also gained experience as a Medical Laboratory Assistant at the State Pathologist's Office in July and August 2001. Their earliest work experience was as a Trainee MLSO Pathology at the National Health Service from July 2000 to June 2001, where they received training in pathology techniques and routine sample sectioning.

Andrea Parke completed their education in the field of molecular oncology and biomedical science. Andrea earned a BSC (Hons) degree in Biomedical Science from Ulster University from 1998 to 2002. Afterward, they pursued further education and achieved a PhD degree in Molecular Oncology from Queen's University Belfast between 2002 and 2005.
