Matthew Simpson

Matthew Simpson is currently the Financial Controller at Palace Capital. Prior to that, they were the Head of Finance & Operations for a company from February 2021 to August 2021. Matthew has also been the Group Financial Controller from January 2016 to February 2021. In this role, they were responsible for driving the financial success of the business and ensuring operational excellence, productivity, and system innovation. Matthew has also been a finance manager for Cit Group from November 2010 to December 2015.

Matthew Simpson completed a 2:1 in Business Studies (Strategy & Entrepreneurship) at The Nottingham Trent University. Prior to this, they attended BHASVIC College.

They are on a team with Nicola Grinham - Company Secretary, Stephen Silvester - Finance Director, and Richard Starr - Executive Director. Matthew Simpson reports to Neil Sinclair, Chief Executive.
