Stephen Silvester

Stephen Silvester has over 15 years of experience in finance and accounting. Stephen is currently the Finance Director at Palace Capital, a position they have held since June 2015. Prior to that, they were the Chief Financial Officer at Monta Capital.

Before joining Monta Capital, Stephen was the Group Financial Controller at NewRiver Retail Ltd, a real estate investment company (REIT) publicly traded and listed on London AIM, focused on food & value retailers. During their time at NewRiver, Stephen oversaw a large number of property transactions and raised debt finance to support these transactions.

Prior to their role at NewRiver, Stephen was Senior Accountant, Audit & Corporate Advisory at PKF. In this role, they provided audit and advisory services to clients in a variety of industries.

Stephen began their career as an accountant at Menzies LLP in 2003. Stephen holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance from the University of Sydney.

Stephen Silvester's educational career includes a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Southampton and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Wollongong. Stephen also has certification from the In Professional Development in Directors Development Programme and the ICAEW in Chartered Accountant.

Their manager is Neil Sinclair, Chief Executive. They are on a team with Matthew Simpson - Financial Controller, Nicola Grinham - Company Secretary, and Richard Starr - Executive Director.
