Bashar Ashour

Bashar Ashour is an accomplished environmental consultant and institutional development expert with extensive experience in the water and sanitation sector. As a freelance environmental consultant since January 2016, Bashar specializes in environmental assessments related to urbanization and WASH issues. Currently, Bashar serves at the Palestinian Water Authority, overseeing consultancy services for institutional development in Gaza. Previous roles include Chief Executive Officer at Medusa, Senior Field Coordinator for the WASH program at International Orthodox Christian Charities, and Projects Manager at the Palestinian Hydrology Group, where Bashar managed various WASH and food security initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Geological and Earth Sciences from Damascus University and a postgraduate specialization in water resource management from The International University College of Turin.
