Melanie Jones has extensive experience in the wine industry, with a strong background in sales and account management. Melanie worked as the Director of Chain Sales-On Premise National Accounts Eastern US at Palm Bay International in 2014. Prior to that, they held the position of National Account On Premise Manager-Central at DFV Wines from 2012 to 2014. At DFV Wines, Melanie was responsible for overseeing the sales operations for a portfolio of premium wines and establishing partnerships with national account buyers and distributors. Melanie also worked as the Director of Chains-Off Premise at Click Wine Group/Winebow from 2004 to 2011, where they managed and forecasted shipments, developed training programs, and maintained high visibility within key corporate chain accounts. Before that, Melanie worked at Robert Mondavi as an Area Sales Manager from 2000 to 2003, The Charmer Sunbelt Group as a Territory Sales Manager from 1996 to 2000, and E. & J. Gallo Winery as a Territory Chain Sales Manager from 1993 to 1995.

Melanie Jones, CSW, obtained their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Social Sciences from Florida State University in the years 1989 to 1993. In addition to their formal education, they have acquired several certifications. In 1993, they completed the Gallo Management Training program. Later, in 2003, Ms. Jones obtained their Master Sommelier Level One Certification, although the institution where they obtained this certification is unknown. Finally, in January 2014, they earned the Certified Specialist of Wines (CSW) designation from the Society of Wine Educators.
