Alan Gilchrest

Alan Gilchrest currently serves as the Vice President of Enterprise AI, Data & Analytics, Infrastructure, and First Customer Experience at Palo Alto Networks, beginning in October 2023. Prior to this, Alan held the position of Chief Technology Officer at LivePerson from June 2018 to February 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing product development, scientific, engineering, and IT activities while managing a significant budget and workforce. Key achievements during this tenure include the invention of the Meaningful Automated Connection Score (MACS). Alan's experience also includes leadership roles at Amazon, where responsibilities spanned multiple functions including AI dialog management and customer promise initiatives, as well as positions at Target and Deloitte Consulting LLP. Alan holds a BBA in Management Information Systems from Baylor University.
