Harsha Kumar

Harsha Kumar is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in networking and security technologies. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer for Prisma SDWAN at Palo Alto Networks since October 2022, Harsha previously held the position of Senior Developer at Cisco from January 2017 to September 2023, where responsibilities included the development of L2 security features for Industrial Ethernet IoT switches and L2 forwarding for Data Centre switch series. Before Cisco, Harsha worked as a Senior Developer at Nokia Networks from July 2014 to January 2017, focusing on L2/L3 features for telecom equipment, and served as a Software Developer at Cisco Video Technologies India from January 2011 to June 2014, developing middleware for Linux-based platforms. Harsha holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer and Information Sciences from the National Institute of Engineering, obtained in 2010.
