Kristi Olsen, SPHR, SHRM-CP has over 20 years of work experience in the field of Human Resources. Kristi is currently the Human Resources Director at Palomar Health, a position they have held since September 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Human Resources Operations Manager at Palomar Health from January to November 2023. From February 2019 to March 2023, Kristi served as a Human Resources Business Partner at Palomar Health. Before joining Palomar Health, they were the LOA & Disability Accommodation Specialist at Life Technologies from May 2017 to February 2019.

Throughout their career, Kristi has demonstrated expertise in areas such as leave management, disability accommodation, benefits administration, regulatory compliance, HRIS system support, and project management. Kristi has successfully implemented and supported various HR initiatives, systems, and programs.
Kristi Olsen, SPHR, SHRM-CP, holds a Human Resource Certificate from San Diego State University, which was obtained from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from San Diego State University, completed between 1994 and 1999. In terms of additional certifications, they achieved the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification in January 2020 through HRCI. In the same year, they also became a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner. In 2015, they obtained the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification, and in 2013, they achieved the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification through the HR Certification Institute (HRCI).
