Jay Chow

Jay Chow has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Jay is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Pangea, starting in September 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Cadence Labs as the Director of Engineering from January 2017 to October 2021, where they specialized in Magento, JAVA EE, Docker, and Laravel development. Before that, Jay was a Lead Software Engineer at Tradiv from April 2016 to March 2017, focusing on LAMP/LEMP full-stack development and Magento enterprise development. Jay also worked as a Researcher at Qualcomm Institute - UC San Diego Division of Calit2 from July 2011 to January 2017. Earlier in their career, Jay was a Senior Web Developer at Katana from March 2014 to April 2016 and a Web & Mobile Developer at Motive Interactive from May 2013 to March 2014.

Jay Chow completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in ICAM (Interdisciplinary Computing and the Arts Major) from UC San Diego, starting in 2010 and finishing in 2012. Prior to that, Jay attended De Anza College from 2007 to 2009, studying Business Administration and Management, General. In addition to their education, Jay obtained certification as an Adobe Certified Expert-Adobe Commerce Developer from Adobe in July 2019.
