Douglas Coulter

Douglas Coulter has a strong background in data science and research, with experience in various industries and organizations. Douglas is currently working as the Director of Data Science at Panorama Education since 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Data Science Manager at Panorama Education from 2019 to 2022. From 2018 to 2022, they worked at Fluxx as the Director of Data Science, where they established and led the data science program, building models and conducting analyses to improve various teams and conduct research in the philanthropic sector. Before that, they were a Senior Research Manager at Airbnb from 2016-2018, overseeing a global team of data analysts and providing insights on regulatory changes and stakeholder metrics. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as the Director of Research at Achieve3000, transforming the research and data teams to report on tool effectiveness and provide research insights. Douglas also has experience as the Director of Data and Evaluation at the New York City Department of Education, a Multiple Regression and Econometrics Tutor at New York University, a Research Assistant at NYU Medical Center, an Intern at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, and held various roles at Idealist.org including Multimedia Producer and Community Outreach Manager.

Douglas Coulter completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology with Honors at New York University from 2001 to 2005. Douglas then pursued their Master's in Public Policy at NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service from 2009 to 2011.
