Shereen Al Laham has been working in the healthcare industry since 2018. Shereen started as a Research Assistant at Sheffield City Council, where their duties included conducting interviews and focus groups with stakeholders in healthcare, qualitative analysis of interview transcripts and questionnaires using Nvivo, and analysis of quantitative data gathered from online consultation. In 2019, they became a Community Pharmacy Dispenser at the NHS, where they ensured a satisfactory customer experience, handled patients' health problems through OTC drugs and suitable counselling, and managed the supply chain of drugs, procurement logistics, and GSP. Shereen also held positions as a Clinical Pharmacy Attachment at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, a Research Associate (Consultant) at Aceso Global Health Consultants Limited, a Research Fellow at UCL, an Honorary Research Fellow at Public Health England, and a Co-Founder at Totawell. In 2021, they took on the role of Interim Public Health Officer at NHS Kent & Medway Clinical Commissioning Group and Researcher at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, U. of London. Shereen is currently working as a Clinical Project Manager at Panthera Biopartners.
Shereen Al Laham obtained their Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from AlMaarefa colleges between 2011 and 2017, specializing in Pharmacy. In 2017, they completed their Master of Public Health - MPH from The University of Sheffield, focusing on Management and Leadership. Shereen also holds certifications from APMG International, including AgilePM Foundation and AgilePM Practitioner, obtained in February 2022. Additionally, they have a Foundation of Clinical Research certification from the King Abdullah International Medical Research Center (KAIMRC), obtained in March 2015.
