Michael Kraft

Michael Kraft has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Michael is currently working as a Compliance and Government Affairs Officer at Papa & Barkley since March 2020. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Project Manager in Compliance at Papa and Barkley from November 2018 to March 2020.

Before joining Papa & Barkley, Michael worked at Sequoia Personnel Services for five years, from 2013 to 2018. During their tenure, they held the position of Senior Project Manager and Consultant, where they worked on economic development, business research, and workforce development projects. Additionally, they provided executive search services, managed employee payroll, and outsourced human resource solutions.

From 2006 to 2013, Michael served as the Executive Director of North Coast SBDC, a nonprofit organization focused on economic development and supporting and advising businesses. Michael also held the role of Center Director during this time and had a strong interest in youth entrepreneurship.

Michael has also worked in various positions at several colleges and universities from 1990 to 2005, including Program Director, Dean of Admissions, Dean, and Vice President. Michael began their career at General Dynamics as a Group Leader/Senior Analyst from 1984 to 1987.

Michael Kraft has a BA in Administrative Studies & History, which they obtained from the University of California, Riverside. Michael completed their undergraduate studies from 1980 to 1985. Following that, they pursued an MBA in Strategic Management & Finance from the Drucker School of Management, where they studied from 1986 to 1990.
