Alberto Galvez

Alberto Galvez has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Alberto started their career as a Sales Representative for Crossmark Sales and Marketing, where they educated customers about the benefits of Hill's Pet Food products and promoted in-store sales.

In 2016, Alberto worked as a Software Engineer at CareCloud, where they were responsible for expanding and maintaining SAAS applications for medical practices. Alberto created innovative solutions to meet product goals, government regulations, and the needs of medical providers.

During the same period, Alberto also served as a Web Development Teaching Assistant at Wyncode Academy. Alberto helped new students understand and explain the basics of Ruby, JavaScript, and React, as well as provided guidance on agile methodologies and industry trends.

Currently, Alberto is part of the team at Papa, where they started as a Backend Engineer in 2019. In this role, they created powerful tools and services to support the elderly, college students, and family caregivers. Recently, they assumed the position of Engineering Manager, leading and overseeing the engineering team.

Alberto Galvez attended Southwest Miami Senior High School from 2011 to 2015 and obtained a High School degree. In 2015, they also attended Wyncode Academy, where they studied Full Stack Web Development.
