Andrew Franz

Andrew Franz is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical and nuclear engineering. Currently serving as a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer at PAR Systems since May 2021, Andrew previously contributed as a Nuclear Engineer III at Newport News Shipbuilding, where responsibilities included resolving construction issues and coordinating technical activities within the CVN 79 steam plant construction engineering group. Andrew's background also features roles as a Mechanical Engineer II on propulsion plant projects and as a Construction Engineer and Component Engineer at Day & Zimmermann and Dominion Virginia Power, respectively. Earlier experience includes project and fixed equipment engineering at Calumet Specialty Products Partners, complemented by a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University.
