Karlyn Grafals Nieves

Environmental Interpreter at Para la Naturaleza

Karlyn Grafals Nieves is an experienced environmental interpreter currently working with Para la Naturaleza since May 2021. Previously, Karlyn served as a teaching assistant at the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez from August 2016 to May 2021, assisting in various biology courses including Organismal Plant Biology and General Biology. Additionally, Karlyn worked as a field interviewer for the CASPER Project with the Puerto Rico Public Health Trust in February 2021. Karlyn's educational background includes a Master of Science in Botany/Plant Biology attained from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez in May 2022, following a Bachelor of Science in Biology completed at Universidad de Puerto Rico in 2016. Karlyn also gained experience through a work-study position in Human Resources at Universidad de Puerto Rico from June 2013 to May 2016.
