Chika Umeadi

Chika Umeadi has a wealth of work experience, beginning with their role as an IT Support Specialist and Moodle Assistant System Administrator for Applied Technologies for Learning in the Arts & Sciences in 2008. In 2009, they joined One Laptop Per Child as an OLPC Corps. In 2010, they became a Team Leader and Corps Member for City Year. In 2012, they were a Fortify Accelerator, helping to plan Distilled Intelligence and assisting in the due diligence process for 7 companies. In 2013, they were a Product Manager for TrendPo. In 2014, they became a Partner at tiphub capital. In 2017, they were a Product Manager for LaunchPad Lab and a Part-time Instructor and Distinguished Faculty Member- Product Management for General Assembly. Finally, in 2021, they joined Google as a Product Manager.

Chika Umeadi attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelors in Political Science and Informatics. Chika then went on to attend the American University - Kogod School of Business from 2012 to 2014, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Information Technology. Most recently, in 2020, Chika attended General Assembly to pursue a Data Science degree.
