Carmen Zamora

Carmen Zamora currently serves as the Director of Organizing and Leadership Development at The Children's Movement of Fresno since July 2023. In addition, Carmen has been the Senior Manager of Community Leadership at GO Public Schools since January 2021, managing the Family Leadership Program and ensuring family voices are represented in campaigns. Carmen also holds a role as a Course Facilitator at the Parent Institute for Quality Education (PIQE) since August 2018 and previously served as Past President of California Latina Democrats - Fresno County from January 2020 to March 2021. Between 2019 and 2020, Carmen held various positions at GO Public Schools Fresno, including Manager of Community Leadership and Community Organizer, focusing on building advocacy skills among families to drive educational system changes. Carmen's earlier experience includes customer service and administrative roles at PDM Auctions & Surplus, C.H. Robinson, and Pro Travel Network. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Phoenix and a certificate in Tourism & Travel from American Airlines Travel Academy.
