Javier Lara Vaz

Javier Lara Vaz has a diverse range of work experience. Javier began their career as an Assistant at The Connector, where they assisted with communication and PR for various brands. Afterwards, they joined the Generalitat de Catalunya as a Member of the Cabinet in the Department of Culture, where they were responsible for managing relationships with the Parliament of Catalonia and other departments. Javier also provided advice on digital transformation and implementation of cultural policies. Subsequently, they took on the role of Communications and Institutional Relations Manager for the Girona Provincial Council, where they managed media communication and organized events for the president of the council. Currently, they serve as the Chief of Staff to the Speaker of Parliament of Catalonia at the Parlament de Catalunya. In this position, they oversee daily operations, coordinates meetings and events, and maintains relationships with the media and other contacts.

Javier Lara Vaz pursued an Executive Master's degree in Marketing and Sales from Esade in the year 2022-2023. Prior to this, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Advertising and Public Relations from Universitat de Girona between 2011 and 2016. In 2014-2015, Javier also attended Westminster Adult Education Service to undertake a Business English Course.
