Vice President Of Unmanned Systems (uxs) & Counter Measures

Parra Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking a Vice President of Unmanned Systems (UxS) & Counter Measures will lead the strategic direction, development, and execution of our unmanned systems and countermeasure technologies. This executive will oversee a diverse portfolio of unmanned platforms, including aerial, ground, and maritime systems, and drive advancements in countermeasure solutions to address emerging threats and operational challenges. The role requires a visionary leader with deep technical expertise, strategic acumen, and the ability to drive innovation and growth in a rapidly evolving field.

This successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and execute the strategic vision and roadmap for unmanned systems and countermeasures.
• Drive innovation and technological advancements in unmanned systems and countermeasure capabilities.
• Oversee the integration of UxS and countermeasures into existing and new systems to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Team Management:
• Lead and mentor a team of engineering, research, and operational professionals.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the department.
• Ensure alignment between teams and company objectives.

Product Development:

• Guide the development lifecycle of unmanned systems, from conceptual design to production and deployment.
• Oversee research and development efforts to stay ahead of technological trends and competitors.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable products that meet or exceed customer expectations.

Countermeasures Strategy:

• Develop strategies and solutions to counteract emerging threats and adversarial technologies.
• Collaborate with defense and security agencies to understand threat landscapes and requirements.
• Implement cutting-edge countermeasure technologies to protect assets and operations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, military, and industry partners.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and governmental meetings.
• Communicate the value and benefits of the company's UxS and countermeasure solutions to clients and partners.
  • Budget and Resource Management:
• Develop and manage budgets for UxS and countermeasure projects.
• Allocate resources effectively to ensure project success and financial sustainability.
• Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and performance metrics.
  • Compliance and Standards:
• Ensure all UxS and countermeasure systems comply with relevant regulations, standards, and certifications.
• Implement best practices in safety, security, and operational procedures.

Qualifications Required:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in, Aviation, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 15 years of experience in unmanned systems, defense technology, or a related field, with a proven track record of leadership roles.
• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of unmanned systems (aerial, ground, maritime) and countermeasure technologies.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
• Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to anticipate industry trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to diverse audiences.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on innovative solutions to technical and operational challenges.
• Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (if required).
