About the Job

We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Vice President of Business Development and Innovation to propel the growth of Parry Labs by identifying and capturing opportunities in emerging technologies and independent research and development (IRAD) initiatives. This role will be instrumental in expanding our market presence, aligning with programs of record, and establishing Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADAs) to bring new solutions to market.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify new SBIR and innovation development business opportunities for Parry Lab’s various P&L portfolio, including customers in the US DoD, US DHS and other government agencies.
  • Identify and develop capture strategies for emerging technologies and IRAD initiatives, including RDTE development efforts.
  • Lead the execution of capture plans and proposal efforts for new business opportunities within Parry Labs' various P&L portfolios.
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with customers and partners to drive business growth and market expansion.
  • Provide guidance to Executive Leadership on business investments and priorities to foster growth.
  • Develop and implement opportunity-specific capture plans and strategies aligned with our business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product evolution plans and recommend IR&D initiatives.
  • Facilitate the acquisition of related CRADAs to accelerate the commercialization of innovative solutions.
  • Generate accurate business forecasts and manage pipeline data to support decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate closely with Executive Leadership, technology teams, program managers, and finance teams to drive innovation and growth.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

  • Proven leadership experience in winning developmental programs within the DOD and DHS.

  • Demonstrated ability to shape and drive winning capture plans across diverse stakeholders.

  • Detailed knowledge of the defense market ecosystem, including R&D captures, Program of Record captures, and Contract Vehicle captures.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and creative environment.

  • Knowledge of government procurement, contracting, and standards and specifications.

  • Extensive experience in the procurement process for complex military and/or IC systems.

  • Ability to effectively engage with technical and management representatives of U.S. Government and industrial customers.

  • Experience in leading competitive proposals.

  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
