John Wharff

John Wharff, EP has more than 20 years of experience in both the public and private environmental arenas conducting and managing environmental assessment and remediation projects. His project management breadth includes all phases of Environmental Site Assessments (ESA), peer reviews, soil and groundwater investigations, environmental remediation, permitting, hazardous waste management, compliance, and a multitude of field activities for commercial and government clients.

Mr. Wharff has conducted thousands of Phase I and II ESAs on properties ranging from large industrial and commercial facilities, urban developed parcels, transportation corridors, and agricultural land. Clients have included State and Federal entities, local government, banks, property management firms, developers, petroleum retailers, utilities, and school districts. Responsibilities have included preparation and review of technical reports, staff supervision, project cost and scheduling, regulatory compliance oversight, and negotiation. His relevant project experience has included conducting and writing Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessment reports, health and safety plans, remedial action plans, and removal action reports.
