Yuji Ueno

Yuji Ueno has a comprehensive work experience in the insurance industry. Yuji started their career in 2007 at ING Life Japan, where they worked in pricing and product development for four years. In 2011, they joined ING Group Holland as a Senior Actuarial Analyst, contributing to Variable Annuities Europe and Product Solutions & Innovation. In 2013, they joined AXA Life Insurance as an Assistant Manager. From 2014 to 2020, they worked at SCOR as a Manager in SCOR Global Life. Currently, they are employed at PartnerRe, where they hold various leadership roles. In 2020, they became the Head of Structuring and Actuarial, Financial Solutions, APAC, and later advanced to serve as the Head Representative and Chief Representative for the Japan Representative Office.

Yuji Ueno obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Kobe University in 2005 and a Master's degree in Physics from the University of Kentucky in 2007. Yuji also holds additional certifications as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder from the CFA Institute and as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Japan (FIAJ) from The Institute of Actuaries of Japan.
