Joan Minaya-Natal

Joan Minaya-Natal has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. In 2001, they worked as a Human Resources Assistant at the Catholic Guardian Society & Home Bureau. From 2003 to 2004, they held roles such as Special Events Intern at Susan G. Komen Greater New York City, and Development & Marketing Administrative Assistant at the Girl Scout Council of Greater New York. In 2005, they became a Program Administrator at the Girl Scouts of Greater New York. From 2007 to 2014, they worked at Read Alliance (READ) as an Outreach Manager and later as Deputy Director of Programs. For the past six years, they have been a part of the Sacred Heart Elementary School/Partnership for Inner-city Education, serving as Director of School Operations. Most recently, they joined Partnership Schools as the Regional Director of Operations in 2018.

Joan Minaya-Natal completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Public Relations from LIU Post, where they studied from 1996 to 2001. In 2009, they obtained a Certificate in Youth Development for After-School Practitioners. Later, in 2010, they acquired a Graduate Certificate in After-School Program Development. Additionally, they attended the Partnership for After-School Education (PASE) Conference in 2014.
