Mabel Crescioni

Mabel Crescioni has a wide range of work experience in the fields of health and research. Mabel is currently working as a Senior Engagement Officer at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) since 2022.

Before joining PCORI, they held various positions at the University of Arizona. Mabel worked as a Professor of Practice and as a Lecturer. Mabel also served as an Assistant Research Professor, where they were involved in study protocols, data management, analysis, and grant writing. Prior to that, they worked as an Assistant Research Scientist, conducting testing and assisting in study recruitment and data management. Mabel'searliest role at the University of Arizona was as a Graduate Research Associate, where they were responsible for survey instrument development and conducting interviews and focus groups.

Mabel also has experience as an Owner/Consultant at Crescioni Consultants since 2011. In this role, they have conducted community health needs assessment, evaluation, and data collection using SPSS and STATA. Mabel has also provided trainings, facilitated meetings, and assisted clients with planning and presenting to diverse audiences.

Mabel has served as the Public Health and Outcomes Projects Director at the Hemophilia Federation of America from 2018 to 2021. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing public health and outcomes projects.

Mabel worked at the Critical Path Institute (C-Path) as the Assistant Director of the Patient-Reported Outcomes Consortium and the Director of the ePRO Consortium from 2015 to 2018. Mabel'sresponsibilities included assisting the Executive Director, providing scientific input during PRO instrument development, and reviewing vendor deliverables.

Mabel started their career as a Research Assistant (Intern) at the National Center for Health Statistics in 2008, where they conducted data analysis and writing on various health-related issues.

Prior to that, they worked as a Health Care Policy Advisor at the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico Governor's Office from 2005 to 2007. In this role, they conducted research, analysis, and drafting of health and social welfare policy opinions.

Mabel also has experience as a Legal Counsel at MCS Life Insurance Company, where they provided legal counseling and representation and assessed company procedures.

Earlier in their career, they worked as an Attorney at Arroyo, Monrouzeau & Associates, where they provided legal counseling and representation for health care organizations and drafted policies and procedures.

Overall, Mabel Crescioni has a diverse background in health, research, and legal roles, and they have demonstrated strong skills in data analysis, grant writing, and policy development.

Mabel Crescioni has obtained several degrees throughout their education history. Mabel holds a Doctor of Public Health (Dr.P.H.) from the University of Arizona, where they specialized in the field of Public Health. Additionally, they earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Health Law from the Saint Louis University School of Law. Prior to that, they obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Law, with a focus on Law. Mabel'sundergraduate education was completed at Rutgers University (Rutgers College), where they received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communications.
