Jonathan Hurtgen

Jonathan Hurtgen is an experienced firefighter engineer currently serving at Hematite Fire Protection District since July 2007. In addition to firefighting, Jonathan is involved with the Patriot Guard Riders, honoring fellow veterans since April 2012. Jonathan's diverse background includes roles as a Maintenance Specialist at Timber Creek Resort, Public Safety Specialist at Chase Security, and EMS at Veterans Administration Hospital, among others. Jonathan's educational qualifications include degrees in Fire Science from Jefferson College and ongoing studies at the University of Missouri-Columbia, as well as a degree in Criminal Justice from Mineral Area College. Jonathan has also completed training at the Mineral Area Fire Academy.
