Mikaela Hoffman-Stapleton

Mikaela Baumann has a diverse work experience in the field of data science. Mikaela is currently working at Pattern Ag as a Data Science Manager since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Arable from January 2019 to November 2021. At Arable, they held multiple roles including Senior Manager, Data Science - ML/AI Model Development, Staff Data Scientist, and Data Scientist. In these roles, they were responsible for developing and deploying machine learning models for customer devices and creating an ETL framework for reference data. Before joining Arable, Mikaela worked as a Research Data Scientist at TSRC at the University of California, Berkeley from 2017 to 2019. Mikaela also has experience as a Data Scientist on contract at Loot Crate and BART in 2017 and 2016 respectively.

Mikaela Baumann pursued their education in a chronological order. In 2008, they enrolled at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they completed their Bachelor's Degree with Honors. Their major was B.S. in Physics, and they also obtained a B.A. in Mathematics with Honors during their time at the university. Mikaela then continued their academic journey by pursuing a Master's Degree in Data Science at the University of San Francisco from 2016 to 2017.
