Debbie McAdam

Debbie McAdam, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Their most recent position is the Senior Vice President of People, Culture, and Workplace at Pattern Energy Group, a role they began in April 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Global Human Resources and Workplace Operations & Experience at Pattern Energy Group from May 2017 to March 2022.

Before joining Pattern Energy Group, Debbie held various leadership positions. Debbie was the President and CEO of HarmonyResources, Inc. from January 2010, and they also previously held the role of President and CEO at HarmonyResources, Inc. from April 2004 to October 2005. Debbie was the Vice President of Human Resources and Administration at The Telx Group from January 2013 to December 2015.

Debbie also has experience in the financial and consulting sectors. Debbie served as the SVP of Human Resources at MacFarlane Partners from September 2007 to January 2010. Prior to that, they were the VP of Human Resources Operations at BPO Management Services, Inc. from October 2005 to August 2007. Debbie also worked as the Chief Human Resources Officer at USI Holdings from October 1998 to April 2004.

Debbie began their career at Sprint Communications Co. as a Manager of Human Resources from September 1984 to April 1996. Debbie also worked as a Personnel Supervisor at Coopers & Lybrand from October 1986 to January 1988. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated accomplishments in areas such as strategic planning, employee engagement, HR operations, and corporate governance.

Debbie McAdam holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in HR Management from the University of San Francisco. Debbie also obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration from the same university. Debbie McAdam completed their high school education at Mercy High School in Burlingame, CA, earning a diploma.

In addition to their formal education, Debbie McAdam has pursued various certifications. Debbie attended the Cornell/Sprint Human Resources Institute at The New York State School of Industrial/Labor Relations and holds a certification in Employee Relations Law from the Institute for Applied Management and Law. Debbie is currently in the process of obtaining the GPHR certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) and also holds a certification in Labor Law from the Institute for Applied Management and Law. Further, they completed the Organizational Mastery Certification in Program Management–Creating a Successful Project Environment from Stanford University.
