Zeeshan Shafiq

Zeeshan Shafiq is an experienced engineering professional with a focus on SCADA systems in the energy sector. Currently serving as the Director of SCADA Engineering at Pattern Energy Group since February 2015, Zeeshan oversees the development and administration of power plant SCADA systems, ensuring regulatory compliance and effective management of software changes for wind and solar facilities. Prior roles at DNV GL included Team Leader for WindHelm SCADA and Portfolio Manager, overseeing various projects across North America, as well as earlier positions in SCADA project engineering. Zeeshan's career began as a Field Engineer at GE Wind Energy, and initial experience included a test engineer internship at Hitachi Computer Products. Zeeshan holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.
