Amber Livingston

At Paylocity, Amber oversees the legal function and lead the company’s legal initiatives. Her job is to anticipate potential issues before they become actual issues so that Paylocity can focus on doing what it does best — delivering the highest quality technology and service to our clients.

Before joining Paylocity, she was the Corporate and Securities Counsel at Motorola Solutions, and she started her career as a corporate and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) attorney at Skadden in Chicago.

Amber grew up in a small town in South Carolina and moved to Atlanta for college. She received a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Emory University and a law degree from Northwestern Law. When Amber is not tackling legal matters for Paylocity, you can find her husband and her chasing after their two busy toddlers or checking out a new restaurant in Chicago.
