David Block

David oversees the product development life cycle: building quality and scalability into a PaymentWorks application that consistently innovates around our customers’ needs. Over his career David has helped to co-found, build and sell several startup companies in the roles of CTO and VP of Engineering. Prior to PaymentWorks David was VP of Engineering at Backupify, through its acquisition by Datto and Datto’s subsequent sale. He has more than 25 years of industry experience since starting his career as a software developer and receiving his degree in Computer Science from Brown University.
