Patrick Hew

Patrick Hew has been working in the technology industry since 2000. Patrick began their career as a Software Engineer at Patimas Computers Berhad in 2000. In 2002, they moved to Macro Kiosk Berhad and held multiple roles, including Chief Technology Officer, Senior IT Manager, Technology Development Manager, and Software Engineer. In 2021, they joined Paywatch as the Chief Technology Officer.

Patrick Hew obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computing & Information Systems from the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside in 2000. Prior to that, they obtained a High Diploma in Computing & Information System from Kolej Damansara Utama in 1998-1999. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Coursera in Text Retrieval and Search Engines (June 2016), Data Visualisation (May 2016), and The Data Scientist’s Toolbox (March 2015).
