Michael Rubin

Michael Rubin has over 20 years of work experience in software engineering, management, and leadership roles. Michael is currently working as a Software Director at Wind Creek Hospitality since July 2017. Prior to this, they worked at Apple from 2015 to 2017, where they held positions such as Software Engineering Manager, Lead Software Engineer, and Senior Software Engineer. From 2009 to 2015, they worked at WMS Gaming as a Lead Software Engineer and Principal Software Engineer, where they demonstrated expertise in leadership, mentorship, and building strong relationships. Michael also has experience as a Programmer at High Voltage Software and Midway Amusement Games, LLC. Additionally, Michael co-founded and served as the CTO of firstdigitalschool.com, Inc. from 2002 to 2004. Michael started their career as a Programmer at Volition, Inc. in 2000 and worked as a Student Worker at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications from 1998 to 2000.

Michael Rubin received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in General Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Michael attended this institution from 1999 to 2008. Later, from 2009 to 2014, they pursued a Masters of Computer Science degree at DePaul University, specializing in Computer Science.
