Francisco Paniagua Gallego

Francisco Paniagua Gallego has experience working as a QC microbiology analyst at PCI Pharma Services starting in March 2022. In this role, they adhere to GMP regulations, detects potential out-of-specification and out-of-trend results, and collaborates in research.

Prior to that, from July 2021 to January 2022, they worked as a PhD student at the Institute of Natural Resources and Agrobiology. During this time, they organized and designed research experiments, collected and analyzed data using various software, and conducted gene expression quantification, DNA and RNA extraction and manipulation, PCR, qPCR, HPLC, mineral and fat composition analysis, as well as molecular and phenotypic analysis of fungi.

From September 2020 to July 2021, Francisco worked as a laboratory technician at the University of Salamanca. In this role, they isolated soil bacteria, characterized them phenotypically and molecularly, and identified them using sequencing techniques. Francisco also performed metagenomic analysis of soils and organized laboratory activities.
