Luke Douglas

Luke Douglas has a diverse work experience, starting with their most recent role as the Acting Director of the Office of Strategic Information, Research, & Planning at the Peace Corps since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief of Strategic Planning and Data Management for the same organization from December 2020 to July 2022.

Before joining the Peace Corps, Luke held a position as a Management Analyst at the National Park Service from July 2018 to December 2020. Luke also worked as a Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group from July 2016 to June 2018 and as a Summer Consultant at the same company in June to August 2015.

Luke's early experience includes an internship as a Business Plan Intern at the National Park Service in June to August 2014, a role as a Team Member at Expedition Arguk conducting a hiking and packrafting trip through the Alaskan Arctic in July to August 2013, and an Analyst position at Trinity Wall Street from November 2012 to May 2013.

Prior to that, Luke worked as a Research Analyst and Volunteer at IIX Foundation from September 2011 to October 2012, and as a Fellow at Princeton in Asia from August 2010 to July 2011. Luke began their career at XTec Incorporated as an Associate from February 2010 to July 2010.

Luke Douglas has a diverse educational background. Luke obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Systems Engineering from The George Washington University - School of Engineering & Applied Science, completing their studies from 2023 to 2026. Prior to that, they attended the NYU Stern School of Business and NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) respectively, from 2013 to 2016. Before their graduate studies, they attended Middlebury College from 2006 to 2009, where they earned a B.A. in International Politics & Economics. In addition to their formal education, Luke has also obtained certifications in Foresight from UH Cullen College of Engineering - Technology Division and a Professional Certificate in Data Science from HarvardX in 2022.
