Wil P.

Wil P. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Wil started their career as a Graduate Intern at USRA in 2012, where they focused on identifying lunar landing sites using a unique approach. From 2011 to 2014, Wil worked as a Research Assistant at University College London, where they prepared and produced data for a multi-university research project aimed at improving the quality of data available over Mars. During this time, they also provided software and data support for new team members.

In 2015, Wil joined Essence as an Analytics Executive and gradually advanced to the role of Senior Account Executive and Analytics Manager. Wil managed creative brand and digital campaign analytics for key Google B2C accounts, developing learning agendas and measuring multimillion-dollar campaigns. In 2018, Wil took on the role of Interim Director, managing a team working across multiple accounts and tasked with developing predictive analytics capabilities and unique campaign measurement solutions.

In 2018, Wil joined what3words as the Growth Analytics Lead, responsible for driving analytics and providing insights to support the company's growth. Wil later became the Head of Data and Analytics, overseeing the data strategy and analytics efforts. Currently, Wil is working at Peanut as the Head of Data, leading the data initiatives for the company.

Wil P. began their educational journey in 2004 at The University of Manchester, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics. Wil successfully completed their BSc program in 2007.

In 2007, they enrolled at The University of Sheffield for a Master of Science program in Environmental and Energy Engineering. Their studies in this field lasted until 2008, giving him a solid foundation in this subject.

After completing their MSc, Wil P. decided to further their education by pursuing another Master of Science degree. In 2009, they joined The University of Sheffield's program in Geography: Polar and Alpine Change. This program lasted until 2010 and provided him with a deeper understanding of this particular field.

Seeking advanced knowledge and expertise in their chosen field, Wil P. enrolled at UCL in 2010 for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Planetary Science. Wil dedicated five years to this program, ultimately completing their PhD in 2015.
