Idelsi Sanchez

Idelsi Sanchez has a strong background in the legal field, specifically in healthcare and insurance. Idelsi is currently serving as the Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for Reimbursement, Intellectual Property & Clinical Research at Pediatrix Medical Group since 2022.

Previously, Idelsi held the same position at Mednax Services, Inc. from 2020 until 2022. Idelsi also worked as an Associate General Counsel at Mednax Services, Inc. from 2005 to 2020.

Before joining Mednax Services, Inc., Idelsi worked at Humana as a Senior Insurance Counsel from 1997 to 2004.

Earlier in their career, they served as the VP of Legal Affairs at Physician Corporation of America from 1993 to 1997.

Idelsi Sanchez attended the University of Miami from 1980 to 1984, where they earned a B.A. in Economics/Business Law. Idelsi then went on to Columbia Law School from 1984 to 1987, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) degree with a specialization in Banking, Corporate and Securities Law.
