Alex D'Amico has extensive work experience in various roles related to people and workplace management.
Starting in 2003, D'Amico worked at Macy's, where they held positions such as Manager of Organizational Development and Director of Executive Talent. In these roles, they focused on strategic initiatives, organizational development, and talent acquisition.
In 2015, D'Amico joined Amazon as a Regional Staffing Manager and later became a Staffing Manager for Global HR and Business Optimization. They were responsible for high volume hiring, strategic planning, and executing launch and seasonal hiring initiatives.
From 2017 to 2020, D'Amico worked at Sam's Club as Senior Director, leading change and cross-functional working programs. They also served as the Senior Director of Workforce Planning and Talent Acquisition, where they focused on recruiting and succession planning strategies.
In 2020, D'Amico joined Better as the VP-People, overseeing talent strategy and people teams. In 2021, they transitioned to the role of VP- People & Workplace at Pair Eyewear.
Since 2021, D'Amico has been involved in various advisory roles, such as being a CPOHQ Member at CPOHQ and a People & Workplace Advisor at ADY Advisory.
In 2023, D'Amico will start working as the Chief People Officer at Peek.
Alex D'Amico received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Drew University in the years 1997 to 2001. Additionally, Alex obtained the following certifications: Agile Product - Certificate of Proficiency from Agile KB in November 2018 and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) from Fred Pryor/Career Tracks in December 2014.
